I’ve been looking for a new wreath since I finally tossed my evergreen version from the holidays back in February.  I’m thinking of trying this DIY succulent wreath from Prudent Baby.  It would look nice for spring and the succenlents would get moisture from the rain through my screen door – seeing that rain is in the forcast for Portland almost every day from now until, well, forever.  You could even try to use minature violets or possibly even ferns.  I’ll let you know how it turns out!

Rooftop Farm

I’m green with envy for the Eagle Street Rooftop Farm featured on The Selby.  This would really solve my urban ways/ rural wants conflict and such a brilliant use of space. Plus the woman in the photos, Annie Novak, makes gardening look so chic.
